Cedric Nolin
Composer

Cedric Nolin is a young composer from Saint-Constant, Quebec who works in video games and film. A music lover and gamer, he spent his teenage years writing rock songs on his electric guitar between sessions of Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed. In 2024, after earning a jazz-pop guitar diploma from CÉGEP de Sherbrooke, his passion for music led him to begin a bachelor’s degree in screen-music composition at the University of Sherbrooke, which he will complete in 2027. During this time, he took part in several game jams, composed and released his first demo reel, and got selected to join the SOCAN Foundation’s screen-music lab in partnership with Ubisoft Montreal. His eclectic musical influences include, but are not limited to, artists such as Aphex Twin, Black Sabbath, and Jeremy Soule. Cédric enjoys interweaving his various influences into compositions rich in intensity and color. Currently, in addition to continuing his university studies, he is working on the pre-production of a first EP.
